Haiga Portfolio, 1966-67
The complete portfilio of twenty (20) color woodcut prints. All signed, titled and numbered; each image approximately 20 × 16 inches, each sheet 21 ½ x 18 inches. Printed on Kozo mulberry paper, mounted in mulberry paper folders with original slipcase. All in fine condition with strong color, with explanation page and table of contents. Self published and printed in Kyoto 1965-1967 with printer Clifton Karhu. The Haiga Portfolio offers visual interpretations of the Japanese haiku master poets Matsuo Basho, Yosa Buson, Kobayashi Issa and others.
